Kilconquhar Castle offers two restaurants on the estate which are open to residential guests and the wider public.
The White Cockade Bistro
The White Cockade is a bistro style restaurant which takes it’s name from the emblem of the Jacobites, with a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits and a selection of menus.
The Bistro welcomes families with children to dine and provide a children’s menu to ensure that we have something on offer for them to enjoy.
Breakfast is served in the White Cockade from 8.30 am through to 11.00 am every morning. You can enjoy a continental breakfast which includes a selection of cereals, fruits and yoghurt served with tea, coffee and toast followed by a cooked to order hot breakfast which offers a range of fish, omelettes and of course not forgetting a full Scottish cooked breakfast with bacon, eggs, black pudding, haggis, tomatoes, mushrooms and eggs just the way you like them.
From 12 noon you can then enjoy a range of dishes from our lunch and snack menu, this will be available through to 5.00 pm at night. The menu offers a range of baked potatoes, toasted sandwiches, baguettes and light lunch menus.
From 5.00 pm to last orders at 8.45 pm the bistro offers a range of menus from a la carte menu to a table d'hote menu as well as our seasonal set menu specials. Whatever you choose you can be guaranteed that all of our dishes are cooked with locally sourced fresh ingredients and packed full of flavour.
The Lindsay Room
The 16th Century oak panelled Lindsay room offers an exquisite dining experience with a real traditional feel. The inglenook fireplace and ornate ceilings add to the delicate ambience where diners can enjoy a sumptuous menu in a stunning surrounding.
